There are stories coming out that Obama's cousin in Kenya is preforming what appears to be some kind of genocide. It is also reported that Obama played a role in getting his cousin elected.

One of the Edwards' campaign advisors said in an article about Edwards suspending his campaign or ('stepping aside') �that it had a lot to do with the low poll numbers in addition to the primary results in Florida and Michigan. � But, what do they expect? �They were not allowed to campaign here. �Edwards and Obama did not have the name recognition of Clinton.

I have never really understood all that goes on in politics. But, I know a good potential leader when he stands before all of us. I agree with your point of view, your positive attitude, and I really feel you could help this country change a few things. I was deeply saddened to hear that you had dropped from the race and I dearly wish you could reconsider. I am sure your reasons are valid, but what a loss it will be.

You were recently in Jefferson City, Missouri (on my birthday no less) and I had so hoped to meet you. I live only 30 miles or so from there. Unfortunately, I was unable to go that day.

You are always welcome in Missouri, Mr. Edwards. Perhaps you could become Governor here? Hmmm..it's a thought. :) My best to you and your family in your future plans.

In the New Hampshire debate, ABC eliminated Kucinich and Gravel because they didn't finish well enough in Iowa. �Richardson was ignored and Edwards got little attention.

In the Nevada debate, Kucinich was excluded after the Nevada Supreme Court ruled in favor of MSNBC. �Edwards was mostly ignored.

I challenge Edwards's supporters to BOYCOT THE MEDIA, as a protest to their behavior regarding campaign. Most of as are complaining about media, some suggest we write to them. I say: CENCELL SUBSCRIPTION, STOP WATCHING TV. Only then we refuse to be influenced by their massage, THEY WILL HEAR AS. They don't do as any service anyway.

Last week I made my first donation to Edwards' campaign fund and as my schedule opened up I was ready to help put some time and energy into the campaign. �I think there might be a lot of people like me, a little late. �I even joined my local �community campaign group which now numbers one, me!

I was extremely disappointed that Edwards withdrew, since he said he would go all the way to the convention.

Well, what does it mean to vote for a candidate? �It means you trust that man or woman to decide for you, to protect your interests, and to seek your welfare--even if he's suspended his campaign.
Do we trust Senator John Edwards with our votes and any likely delegates they win for him? �I should hope so!
Suspended campaign or not, John Edwards' delegates make a difference. �I trust Senator Edwards to use those delegates in as creative and positive a way possible even if he may not be the Party's nominee. �He's carrying us in his hands--just like a President would.

Even after you had to drop out in '04, you kept fighting for working americans- it seemed like every few weeks I'd get an e-mail from you reminding me of the need to keep fighting, even if the election was years away. First time I write a blog entry and it's after my candidate leaves the race. �I'm floored but, also I unfortunately understand the decision. �I honestly don't know how I'm going to vote from here. �I felt good casting a vote yesterday in Florida even when no delegates were being distributed. �

I'm almost as upset over hearing the news of Edwards' departure from the race as I have been over the past 2 general elections. �Kerry had my vote four years ago due to Edwards being his running mate. �Well, I guess I'll just have to see what happens from here but, no one else in this race comes at it with the passion for the country and what needs to get done as John Edwards. �I'm sorry to see him leave.

It said that even though John Edwards dropped out (not my words the authors) his ideas have pushed the candidates to the left, and helped shape the debate. People who planned on voting for you seem ready to just stay home on election day. The discouragement in the whole political process is very strong at the moment. Please make an endorsement soon ( I hope for Obama but that's just me ) and give it the power and push it needs to get people to not give up. We've all been so beaten up for the last 28 years that it's too easy for some people to just lie down and play dead. They must continue and they must vote. And if they don't care for whoever they end up voting for then they need to get very mouthy with phone calls and emails and blog entries to keep their issues in the conversation.

What about my delegate vote, John?????

After months of tough work, we won our precinct's delegate vote for you and I was nominated to carry your vote to our convention. �

What would you have us do now? �

I've tried calling local offices and couldn't get any answer. �I talked with a campaign worker at the state's campaign office who took my name and number and never called back.

After all our months of contributions, phone banking, blogging, rallies, etc. are we supposed to just throw the delegate vote away? �Even though YOU quit before reaching the national convention, are we supposed to quit, too? �Or are we on our own to decide which candidate to cast our delegate vote?

Our county convention is next month and the state convention is in April. �A little communication and guidance from the campaign would be appreciated. �

Pros and cons of voting for Edwards delegates on Feb. 5

I'm wondering what the impact will be of voting for the Edwards delegates in the February 5 primary now that Edwards has dropped out. �Realistically, I don't think I can decide between H. Clinton and Obama by Tuesday, since, while I think both are extremely talented, I have concerns about both and there has been a lot that I disliked about their campaigns. �Therefore my choice will be either to skip the primary or to vote for the Edwards delegates, even though he's no longer in the race.

This is the first time my state's primary has ever been held so early. �Unfortunately, this time I probably would've welcomed the chance to wait until June to make up my mind now that Edwards is out.

What do you think about the impact of voting for a candidate no longer in the race?

Media rumors from quote "inside democratic sources" across the web have brought my heart to it's knees.

I'm hoping that just like when the weatherman forecasts a 90% chance of rain, despite his preconceived notion, we happily enjoy warm & beautiful rays of sunlight shining down on our faces.

Perhaps, they (the ruthless media) are thinking that just because he is changing his path to "the big easy" that he is calling it quits. Maybe this is actually an easy way to FINALLY get some overdue media attention! �I can't think of a better city to be in -

Media rumors from quote "inside democratic sources" across the web have brought my heart to it's knees.

I'm hoping that just like when the weatherman forecasts a 90% chance of rain, despite his preconceived notion, we happily enjoy warm & beautiful rays of sunlight shining down on our faces.

Accodding to news story just posted appoximately 30 minutes ago John Edwards has told his advisers that he is quitting the race for President of the United States. I find this decision to be misguided at the very least, especially since we have Super Tuesday on the way and that no party Niminee will be decided on this day. I for one will continue the fight for John Edwards and his causes.

Are John Edward's labor supporters going to still encourage people to go out and support Edwards by voting for him on Super Tuesday now that he has suspended his campaign. I heard that SEIU California state council was asked by the state media there if they were going to endorse BHO, now that Edwards has dropped out. They said something like it would be too late too shift there support, when the Super Tuesday elections are just days away. Anybody's thoughts on this.

We're going to lose in November to the republicans and if we don't..I don't really believe Clinton nor Obama is going to change the path of America...they may try to make it a little easier to digest but that's not real change. I want

OK, I learned from a report on CNN yesterday that we can still vote for John to give him delegates. �Please spread the word if you are in one of the super Tuesday states. �Who knows, maybe we can give him enough support he can make a comeback. �All I know is �those of us who support John must make a point not to go quietly into the night. �John Edwards has been standing up and speaking about the real needs of the citizens of the U.S. for years and forcing the issues important to us into the spotlight. �Now it's our turn to speak out, and the only way to make politicians listen is to jeopardize their share of the votes. �Go to the polls and check, push, click, or otherwise select John Edwards for president. �

We have got used to this site and blog for several months now. JRE supporters are people who care for fellow humans, and for standing up for truth.

We got used to talking about issues on this site.

We got used to thinking about ideas how to overcome media blackout.

We got used to discussing grassroot campaigns.

We got used to sharing the passion for supporting a good cause.

We got used to watching an underdog fight on.

I always wondered how fellow bloggers would love to be around on this blog all the time.

Howard Dean's site became Democracy For America after he left the race.

This site can continue to be JRE's, as positive may emerge going forward,Godwilling. I hope John is offered a VP ticket.

In any case, please do not pull the plug for this site. Let supporters use this blog to talk about real issues and bold change.

Don't go away.

Amazing that all of a sudden the media is actually acknowledging that John framed the issues in this campaign. �Yes, without John Edwards addressing the issues of health care, economics, poverty, education... neither HRC or Obama would have "addressed" the issues.

Last week I endorsed John Edwards in the Democratic primary. I want a future I can look forward to. I want a future where my country isn't bogged down in debt and where we aren't in a disastrous war. I want a future where I can afford to go to college and where I can feel secure in the fact that I have a President who is MY President, the President of the average every-day Americans. John Edwards is that candidate.

This week I've created a new video that I ask you to pass around and help get the word out about John Edwards and his campaign. I've taken clips from some of my favorite speeches that he has given throughout the campaign and used them to create this video. What a total waste of time on your news (?) to discuss if Obama snubbed Clinton!
Maybe if you and all the news cronies would have spent as much time discussing John Edwards and his platform, he would not have dropped out.
